Bintang besar lain yang masuk nominasi People's Choice Awards 2020 adalah Ariana Grande, Cardi B, Will Smith, Charlize Theron. Tak ketinggalan para atlet, beauty influencer, serta komedian juga ikut masuk dalam nominasi.
Sebelum acara dimulai, tiga nama publik figur mendapatkan penghargaan khusus. Mereka adalah Jennifer Lopez untuk Icon Award, Tyler Perry yang menerima People's Champion Award, dan Tracee Elliss Ross mendapatkan Fashion Icon Award.
